Yeah I contacted the dev last week seeing where things were at and he said that he's currently putting back together and cleaning up the source code to release publically but he's not sure when that'll be finished.

fascinating, I had no idea that was how the left/right handed thing worked. The reason it was changed is because Radialmenu works when set to left handed mode. Either way, right handed barely works. Hope the devs can talk to the dev of Radialmenu and get an idea of how to fix this as Radialmenu has been working absolutely fine for me every since it was first in beta.

okay, had a bit more of a play with a few settings. I tried switching the Pen's left/right hand option back to 'right' and now there's some change, but pressing and holding on the Tablet Pro button locks the movement of the cursor until the Tablet Pro button is released. If I press and hold the button and then tap with the pen on the screen at a point different to the original position when i pressed the Tablet Pro button then it will 'jump' to the rotation of the camera that would have happened if it had been moving with the cursor. But at this point it appears that pressing the button locks the cursor from moving until the screen is tapped with the pen, then the cursor is free because the Middle click is no longer on due to the pen tap. This is only for the 'Middle' button, it still doesn't work at all for the Shift + Middle or Shift + Ctrl + Middle button. All this still works when i move the mouse instead of the pen.

Hmm, I'll update to a preview build and see if that changes anything

Yep, followed along with your vid, all settings the same, the point where you tap on the screen and then press the button and wave the pen around is where the process stopped working for me. I'm using v2.0.0.7

Oh, just me putting my pen over a webpage to test the middle mouse touch button, it was just to test if scrolling was possible on any webpage, it only worked when i moved the mouse.

Here are the two types of setup l have for the buttons. As far as I can see they have the same set up as you demo'd in the video.
the (Frame) one works but the pen one doesn't do anything.

I tested the middle-click button (not the Frame one) on a webpage and it only worked after I took the pen away from the screen, then the scroll arrows came up, when I put the pen back near the Screen, the scroll arrows stopped showing up.

Thanks Julian, that's very helpful, the implementation works, but will take some getting used to, thanks so much for your help.

Hopefully they will update Tablet Pro to enable pen + shortcuts

I had a look and i'd used Alt instead on Shift for the 'move' function, i set it back to default and then tried different combinations on differt Tablet Pro buttons but same issue as before :(

thanks for the reply Julian!

I've tried your technique and no such luck I'm afraid :( I put the pen very close to the screen and then pressed the Tablet Pro shortcut button and nothing happened. I tested the other buttons (the Ctrl and Shift shortcuts) and they functioned normally, I was able to hold them while hovering the pen over the screen and the object I was moving around was affected, so the pen is definitely being recognised as a cursor before it's in range.

Bugs / Pen motion not recognised on Surface Pro 3

I'm trying to use Tablet Pro to navigate inside Blender using 'Artist Pad' by assigning a touch key to 'Alt + Middle Click' so that I can press the touch key and wave my Surface Pro 3 pen across the screen to move the view. It doesn't recognise that the pen is hovering above the screen though, but it works when i move the mouse around. I've turned on all the 'use touch and pen simultaneously' settings where i can find them. Any ideas?
