SP3 W10 simultaneous pen & touch not working

Hello

Downloaded the Windows Store app and desktop trial.  Opened Photoshop artist pad preset.  Can't use pen and touch at the same time.  I'm testing with the big Space button.

However, if I start drawing a stroke, then hold the space button while still drawing, when I stop drawing but keep holding the space button, I can then pan with the pen.

But just pressing the button the trying to pan with the pen doesn't work.  Same for zooming with z, etc.

I've tried with and without the Wintab driver installed.

Any suggestions?

Surface Pro 3 i7
Windows 10 Pro Build 14393.693
Photoshop CC 2015.5.0

EDIT:  It started working after restarted things a few times.  Maybe you had to do that after switching pen settings from Right to Left.

I will post back if any further issues

EDIT2:  Spoke to soon!  It's intermittently dropping out.  I have no idea what's causing simultaneous pen and touch to fail, but this morning I haven't gotten it to work at all.

(I do have the simultaneous pen and touch checkboxes checked in settings)

Oh well, let me know if you have any suggestions
