Can't figure this out
« on: December 17, 2015, 12:08:42 pm »
I am sorry, but I have tried and tried and cannot seem to get this program working.

--None of the gestures are working.
--I create an ini file, load it, but nothing changes about the design.

Am I missing something? Is there something on my computer that is conflicting with this?

I have a surface pro 3 running windows 10 and the latest beta.

Also, I close the program in task panel and it says it's not running, but it is. How do I quit this thing?

Thanks.

I do not think you can completely quit the application you can only seem to "close" the different display modes. However the services are still all running in the background. Uninstall seems to be only way to quit and stop all processes. A quit / stop function would be a awesome addition.

The application is very powerful and complicated. You have multiple running modes and that is confusing. However makes for a very powerful application and steep and learning curve.

Justice has quite a few videos on youtube that give you a concept of what the application can do. However i feel they do not explain clearly the different running modes especially to new users.
I think a video could be made that explain the application and all its functions in different running modes and typical uses. As a new user myself It was steep learning curve.

Julian,

Excellent suggestion. I'll get on that and see if I can get a "modes" video online this weekend. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Lawrence,

Can you send me an email and I'll help you get setup. Everything should be working correctly on Surface Pro 3 on Win 10. My email is Justice(a)tabletpro.net

If you can't find the artist pad that you created double check which size you created and which size is selected to show when loaded (in the artist pad settings)

There isn't currently an "exit" command for the app. I know there is some complications with terminating mid session software that is accessing raw HID data. (kinda like switching the dgpu to gpu with the surface book. I believe it requires a few steps (like signing out) in order to keep from causing problems. But I don't know the details, or if this will be possible to do in the future. Hopefully as we've had a few others say they would like that.

Fantastic. this explains everything and now ive got it set up and running.

if you could do a similar video for creating your own pad, that would be great too. right now the video is for version 1.

thanks

Yes, this is enormously helpful. Thanks for being so responsive.

Now let me go and give this a try.
