this working great.
just need help with few things
I have posted on the "How do I ???" section
Hi Emer,

I seem to be having the same issue, where keys will not stay depressed during pen input, and it makes ZBrush Sculpting nigh impossible with smooth and alt for reversing the function. I'm really hoping this cancan be fixed.

This is the same as what Dell uses for their Pen Tablets.
Pen & Touch does not work simultaneously, must remove the pen from detections for Tablet pro to function.
The brush size slider in photoshop...OMG
On the hunt for anyone with a painter 2017 setup.
I have a similar issue but the fix is not working for me.  :'(

I have used these tools for ZBrush mainly and it's been good until recently getting the latest windows update.

I have the Surface book and recently updated to the Windows 10 Creative update with ZBrush 4r8 installed.

Here's my issue:

What's happening with me is that the some of the 'hold' buttons intermittently do not respond to touching unless I keep my pen hovering over the surface while sculpting.

I found a small workaround: using the pen, press on the non-working buttons a few times and the buttons "wake up". Then, without lifting my pen away from the surface, I am able to use the buttons normally. Right now, I can work with SHIFT and ALT keys. Things go weird when I lift my pen away from the screen and bring my pen back to the surface.

So, I am able to keep the buttons working ONLY if I have the pen hovering on the surface of the screen FIRST. If I press and hold any buttons first before bringing my pen to hover over the screen, the buttons stop working again and I have to "wake" them up with a pen touch again.

But, despite the workaround, regardless of hovering pen first, CTRL will stubbornly not work until I "wake" the button up with my pen all the time.

So, I've tried to use the fix as mentioned by turning on "Ignore touch input when I'm using my pen".

I am able to get the buttons to respond. However, when holding any key, ZBrush will not alter sculpt behavior (based on pressed key) when drawing with the pen. I went ahead and turned it off and used the above workaround to get it to work the way it should to some degree. Waking up the buttons with my pen is very annoying though.

I made sure I have the latest version of TabletPro. Also made sure the checkbox for "Allow simultaneous operation of pen and touch (HID)" is checkmarked.

Maybe there's another setting I am not aware of?  ???

Feature Requests / Custom Width of Artist Pad
« Last post by Jase_Bristol on May 18, 2017, 08:52:25 am »

I have a Surface Book with a 13.5" screen, I use Sketch Book Pro to Draw, When I have all the tool pallets on screen, I have little room left to draw.

I would like to create my own width of Artist pad, similar method to that of buttons and have the remaining App screen to fit to this.

I know there is a work around, such as suggested by julianjc84

"However if you use float mode and set up to adjust size with two fingers. You can drag it to the left side of the screen. Depending on your float mode settings % of when it hits it will jump-convert to full screen mode. With this technique you can somewhat make a side pad to the % of screen space you desire."

But I would like to suggest this feature for future releases if possible.
Many thanks, Great product !
I'm sure I'm missing something, but I cant figure out what.
Surface Pro 4 with all Windows updates installed.

I have just installed this app. I have the artist pad docked on the right side. The problem I have is in Photoshop when I press the space button, I do see the hand, but I cannot pan. It's like pen & touch is not working. I have the checkbox enabled in the settings.

What am I missing.

Edit - issue fixed. I had searched for the solution before posting my question. Immediately after I found this link which solves the issue

enable -'ignore touch when using my pen'

(solved!) I have the same problem: the artist pad doesn't dock any app. I update windows 10 to windows 10 creators update and after it "artist pad" doent's "dock". The other features like side(Right) works and docks.

P.S.: The art pad doens't change monitor too.
Sorry for my bad english

(solved!) Just check the checkbox "dock" inside settings.

How do I???? / Using the Pen to open the Artist Pad
« Last post by lynx3n on April 22, 2017, 04:45:45 pm »
I have a Surface Pro 4, and I noticed in the tutorial video on setting up the Artist Pad for Krita that a pen click was used to open the pad. It looked incredibly useful, so I spent some time trying to figure out how to do it - but couldn't. Is there an autohotkey script for doing that, or was another method used?
The pad is opened with the pen at about 2:15 in the video.

How then do I set up the float to adjust the size with two fingers?  I too would like to have a toolbar that is narrow and runs the full length of the right or left side.  Thanks for any help.
