Title: on screen keyboard issue caused by tablet pc mouse?
Post by: Stustaff on August 28, 2015, 01:43:29 pm
with onscreen keyboard up and tablet pc running but not active I can scroll in a window but a single tap does nothing egcant select a different tab or choose a different field in an online form.

with it active I can use mouse cursor to select and click on things with keyboard up.

the issue has gone, I went into task manager and had two instances of the software running?

I quit both and the issue was gone although strangely the icon was still showing and activated when I tapped it..

That's strange, if it happens again, please do let me know.

ok I'm seeing some weirdness a reboot brings the issue back BUT I think its actually the 'touch keyboard and handwriting panel' process.

if I use task manager to quit that then click on keyboard iconto bring it back it restarts and the issue is gone.

it is since installing your latest beta though, but there was also various updates from MS...

I do have 2proccesses running though both called touchmousepointer one using 5mb and one 2mb of memory?

Hi Stu,

I think I know what's going on.

in the image, the bottom keyboard option is tabbed on for "transparent keyboard"
try selecting that if it's not currently selected.

Based off your bug report we also adjusted the overlay mode on the artist pad to properly layer with the keyboard. Thank you.
