How do I change the button type?
« on: March 07, 2016, 09:03:39 am »
I didn't see an answer to this question yet, hope I'm not reposting.  I'm using Alex Cheparev's Zbrush template.  I like that his Space button stays depressed as long as I am touching it, and releases when I release.  I would like Control, Alt, and Shift to operate the same way, but right now they are toggle buttons - press once to turn on, press again to turn off.  I can load his layout in the Layout Editor, but I just don't see where to change the button action there.  Is it in a different set of settings, or am I just missing it?

Thanks.

EDIT: I did try cloning his "Space" button and just changing the keys to Ctrl / Alt / Shift, but the result is the same.  Those three keys are toggle buttons, and Space works as long as I press it.

EDIT: Thanks to GaryDave for the following response pasted here from a different thread.  It worked!

if you load up your settings page (not the layout editor) and go to the artist pad area there is actually a simple checkbox for "Disable toggle ctrl, shift, alt"

Hi Crunkenzeit,

Thanks for posting this. I know this will be helpful to other users! Glad to see people using Alex's Zbrush template. =)
